Product Description
The Puj Tub is designed to make bath-time quick and easy. Made from a soft foam that folds and conforms to your baby, the Puj Tub cradles and protects the baby during bath time. Hang or store the tub flat anywhere you would like...even on the back of your door and out of sight! The soft foam protects baby's skin from the cold hard sink, keeping baby felling safe, warm and happy--just as if baby were being cradled in her mother s arms! Now mom has two hands free to bathe and everyone is enjoying bath time. The perfect gift for the new mom to have on hand when she brings her little bundle home from the hospital.

The NEW way to bathe baby!. Newborn to 6 months, up to 17 lbs. Cradles and protects baby allowing mom to wash with both hands. No longer have to lean, bend, sit, or squat just to bathe your child. A MUST for C-section moms. Conserves water, energy, and space. Made from a soft, non-slip, PVC-free and BPA-free material.

2 out of 5 stars Not Sturdy, Waste of Money   September 7, 2010

I read the reviews of this and thought it sounded great! When we got it, it looked like it would really work, but then we tried to wash our newborn we watched as the tub deformed in the sink, and as we held onto him the magnets popped apart thereby making the entire thing a big flopping mess. Talk about scaring new parents!

Also, they forget to mention that you can't use it immediately as you need to wait until the baby's umbilical cord falls off. Then they outgrow it when they hit about 2-3 months. So for $40 you get 1.5 month's worth of use. Bad economics, really.

It wouldn't fit any of our sinks so we shoved it into our kitchen sink so at least he couldn't hit the faucet of our bathroom sinks. I refused to let $40 go to waste, but I'm ashamed to say we weren't able to bathe the baby as often as I wanted because the tub was a total safety hazard if there weren't two of us there to bathe him.

Pro: Soft on baby's skin, folds up flat to hang on wall and takes up no space whatsoever.

Cons: Magnets don't hold, can't use until umbilical cord falls off at about 3 weeks then baby outgrows it at about 12 pounds or so at 2 or 3 months (basically 1.5 months worth of use), was impossible for me to use by myself because it would either deform in the sink (deeper sink) or he would fling his head or arms into the faucet (normal bathroom sink).

4 out of 5 stars Great for newborns!   August 30, 2010

The Puj tub worked like a charm for our baby for the first two months. It is great because you can leave the faucet running and the water continuously drains from the tub through the drain holes, so the water doesn't stay soapy or dirty. It is perfect for newborns, but our girl is 9 weeks now (11 lbs) and her weight unfolds the tub while she's in it. This tub is good for deeper oval shaped sinks. If you have a very shallow sink, the tub won't fit right. We used it daily and loved it, and are very sad that our girl outgrew it. I'm buying one for every baby shower from now on!

1 out of 5 stars Flimsy, shipped in poor condition, and cheap   August 26, 2010

I was very excited when my mother-in-law said she had purchased this tub for me - I read the reviews and I have a bad back, so I was looking forward to avoiding back aches. First, it took forever to arrive - probably about 10 days at least from when my mother-in-law claimed she ordered it and it was to be shipped quickly, as she is a Prime member. Secondly, once the package arrived, it was poorly packaged and was bent. It was a in a thin box and the tub itself has a large crease in it. Third, I'm not sure why it is so costly - it's basically a foam mold. I'll take my chances with something a little more durable, even if it means washing her in the tub. I think I'll try my laundry sink before I use this. Since it creased relatively easily, it would seem to lose its shape and I really don't see anything too special about it, especially for the price. I'm returning it.

5 out of 5 stars Great Product/Concept!   August 23, 2010

This is a great bath! My youngest son did not like the standard baby baths that are out there. I found the PUJ while doing a search and thought that I would never pay $40.00 for a baby bath, especially one that won't last through the later stages of infancy( only rated to 17 lbs. and my kids are over 9 lbs at birth). I decided to try it out and have loved it!! My son feels safe in this tub unlike in the standad baby baths. The tub is soft and flexable, it cradles him which makes him feel secure. It is so light and easy to fold. The best part is that it's PBA/PVC free. The tub is designed to fit in the bathroom sink or a pedestal sink. I found that it worked best for me in the kitchen sink, probaby because my son is so big. He fit in the bathroom sink as well but the kitchen was more comfortable for both of us.I can't say enough about it!! I wish they would make something that would work for babies over 17lbs, obvioulsy not a fold up sink tub but a regular baby bath that is light weight, BPA/PVC free. The only other downside is the price!

4 out of 5 stars With a modification works great even for my big baby.   August 14, 2010

This tub definitely does NOT fit well in a sink with a short faucet (regular faucet) and does not work in the kitchen sink. We have a new home and were planning to upgrade our faucet anyway and so we opted for a goose neck faucet that can also move from side to side for our daughters bathroom. With this modification the tub fits great in the sink. My daughter loves being in the tub and enjoys looking in the bathroom mirror while she is bathed. Some have said that it is not good for big babies.

My daughter is currently about 12-13 lbs and is in the 96th percentile for length and this tub still works fine (at 2 months old). I can see that she will grow out of it in the next 6-8 weeks though... which will be unfortunate. It is great to be able to stand up and bathe her instead of leaning over the tub.
